Rules and how it works
Two games on one map: vote for free, or buy yourself a throne.
🗳️ Voting
1. One connection, one vote
Each internet connection (IP address) carries exactly one vote. You can move your vote to another district whenever you like — the old one is transferred, not counted twice.
Your IP address is not stored. What goes into the database is a salted hash the address cannot be recovered from. Details in the privacy policy.
2. Invisible bot protection
An invisible Cloudflare Turnstile check runs against scripts and vote farms. No puzzle, no login, no password — usually you will not notice it at all.
3. Free and open
Voting costs nothing and never will. Every vote and every rank is visible to everyone, live, without an account.
👑 Becoming the prince of a district
1. Entry price by size
Berlin should not go for what the Landkreis Prignitz goes for. The entry price follows the district's population:
- €5 — Metropolis (from 500,000 inhabitants)
- €3 — Greater area (from 200,000 inhabitants)
- €1 — District (every remaining district)
2. Take a throne with €1 more
If someone already holds the throne, it goes to whoever bids at least €1 above the current throne value. There are no deadlines and no auction that closes — the throne always belongs to the highest bid.
3. Coming back costs only the difference
Once you have been the prince of a district, being outbid does not send you back to zero. Whatever you already paid for that district counts, and only the difference to the new throne value is due.
Example: you hold Cologne at €5 and someone takes it for €6. To come back you bid €7 — but pay only €2, because your €5 is already on your account for Cologne.
Your handle is your ID for this. There are no accounts: the same handle means the same credit.
4. If two people pay at once
The higher throne value gets the seat. Whoever narrowly loses loses no money: the amount stays as credit for that district and can be bid up immediately.
5. What a princely title is — and is not
An entry on a joke website. It implies no connection to the actual district, to any administration or to any authority. Names that are unlawful, abusive or misleading are removed; details in the terms.
Payment runs through Stripe. The title is recorded immediately after payment — what that means for your right of withdrawal is set out in the withdrawal policy.
